Welcome to IMEDICA BLS Canada. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, and educational programs, including our AI and VR-powered Basic Life Support (BLS) training.

2. Eligibility

To use our services, you must be:

• At least 16 years of age, and

• Able to enter into a legally binding agreement in your province or territory.

If you are under 18, parental or guardian consent may be required depending on your province.

3. Course Enrollment & Certification

• Registration is required to access any paid course or training.

• Certification is awarded only upon completion of all modules, assessment (where applicable), and full payment.

• IMEDICA reserves the right to refuse or revoke certification if fraudulent activity or academic dishonesty is detected.

4. Payment & Refunds

• All fees are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD).

• Payments are processed through secure third-party platforms.

• Refunds are subject to the following terms:

  • Full refund if requested within 48 hours of purchase and before course access.

  • No refund will be issued once a course has been started or accessed, or after 7 calendar days from purchase, whichever comes first.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on our platform — including videos, lessons, code, simulations, logos, and text — is the intellectual property of IMEDICA BLS Canada or its licensors.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute course materials without written permission

• Use our logo or brand assets without consent

• Sell or exploit any content for commercial use

Violations will result in legal action.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• IMEDICA is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to your use of our site or services.

• Our training is for educational purposes only and does not replace licensed medical education, nor does it qualify participants to perform medical acts outside their legal scope.

7. Privacy

Your use of our site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We take your privacy seriously and comply with all applicable Canadian privacy laws including PIPEDA.

8. Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials safe

• Ensuring no one else accesses your account

• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access

We are not responsible for damages caused by misuse of your account.

9. Third-Party Tools

We may use third-party tools such as:

• Stripe / PayPal (for payments)

• Zoom / VR platforms (for training sessions)

• Google Analytics (for site analytics)

These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their actions.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access:

• If you breach these Terms

• For fraudulent or disruptive behaviour

• At our sole discretion, with or without notice

Termination does not waive any rights accrued before the termination date.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
Any legal action must be brought in the courts of Ontario.
